At Youth Counseling Services, we take confidentiality and privacy very seriously. All information shared during counseling sessions is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without the client's written consent, except in cases where there is a legal obligation to report abuse, neglect, or harm to oneself or others.
In order to receive Intensive Behavioral Health Service (IBHS), the youth will need a written order from an individual with a qualifying license. This could be a physician or physician’s assistant, such as a family doctor, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, or another licensed individual, such as a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed professional counselor, or a licensed marriage and family therapist. The written order will be given to YCS to initiate services.
The Medical Assistance (MA) Program provides payment for IBHS when the services are medically necessary and provided to eligible children, youth or young adults under 21 with a behavioral health diagnosis. Youth may only be excluded from admission services based on clinical and eligibility criteria. Youths without Medical Assistance will not be eligible for services.
