DONALD E. BANKS JR.

Donald Banks is a native of Harrisburg, PA, and is a graduate of Harrisburg High School. Donald obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Penn State University. Donald is also a licensed Behavior Specialist with 25 years of experience working with children in the behavioral health field. 

Recognizing the importance of family and community, Donald often volunteered as a youth coach for several sports in the inner-city. After a decade of program development for at-risk youth within the Steelton-Highspire School District, Donald recognized the ongoing needs of students who were experiencing mental health difficulties in elementary school. In 2021, Donald developed the Youth Counseling Services school-based behavioral health program and acquired an Intensive Behavioral Health Services license that enabled the company to provide services to children and families. Donald enjoys going to the gym, doing yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
