Donald Banks is a native of Harrisburg, PA, and is a graduate of Harrisburg High School. Donald obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Penn State University. Donald is also a licensed Behavior Specialist with over 25 years of experience working with children in the behavioral health field.
Recognizing the importance of family and community, Donald often volunteered as a youth coach for several sports in the inner-city. After a decade of program development for at-risk youth within the Steelton-Highspire School District, Donald recognized the ongoing needs of students who were experiencing mental health difficulties in elementary school. In 2021, Donald developed the Youth Counseling Services school-based behavioral health program and acquired an Intensive Behavioral Health Services license that enabled the company to provide services to children and families.
